The suspense was killing us as we waited all week to find out if our small hive had accepted their new queen. Today we discovered that she is alive and well and laying eggs like crazy! (She’s the elongated bee with the golden thorax you see in the first photo) There’s also a nice pic of John & Lynne (new masters of of the smoker), and another with Debra & Sine posing by our large hive. The only bad thing that happened today was that we missed the SeaTac Ice Cream Social held in the Botanical Gardens by 30 minutes!
